At your church, all day long
Reminders of your life and songs
Elegantly dressed, they mourned,
Then some of the best performed.
Honoring your voice, strong and bold,
A Diva's casket, bright and gold.

Far and wide, your music reached
Respect from where your father preached.
Amazing Grace, to Zooming Who
No genre that you couldn't do.
Keeping all your fans enjoying
Loving techniques you were employing.
I'd say you far surpassed your goal:
Not just the best, The Queen of Soul
