Title: Fan-Flashworks retrospective cookies

Note: As with most kitchen expeditions, this was a joint project between me and [personal profile] heron61. The shaky decorating hand is all me, though. :D

This'll take some explanation!

Maybe it's something to do with the stylesheet for this community. *puzzled*  Edit2: Yes it is.  You can see the images smaller in the flow of things by using style=mine.

Title: I Love Your Work Cake
Fandom: Hannibal
Rating: T
Length: two tiers :V
Bakers: [livejournal.com profile] elanya, [livejournal.com profile] longpig, and contributions from [livejournal.com profile] gats
Notes: Inspired by the Hannibal episode "Sakizuki". I saw the challenge and knew that it was the perfect time to get my awesome and talented and Giant Raging Fannibal sister to help me make something perfect - a hannibal Cake! This was a multi-day process, and it was served yesterday when we had people come over for a belated birthday party for her, so really that was our deadline to finish. We were up until 2am on Friday decorating! Details below the cut :)

Title: Genre-Luc Picookies
Fandom: Star Trek: The Next Generation
Characters: Jean-Luc Picard
Rating: delicous!
Materials: Sugar cookies, royal icing, mini M&Ms and cheap corner store jelly beans - that was the best I could wrangle up on short notice :3
Notes: My thoughts on seeing this challenge went sort of like 'genre? ...Genre? Isn't this all some genre or other, what does that even *mean!* o_O' And then I thought I could do something that showed some genre variations for one fandom, perhaps. And then I thought how I had been on the look out for a challenge that nspired me to try something other than writing, and thought - cookies! I just needed to settle on a fandom, and I aimed for one I hoped more folks could appreciate. Settling on Star Trek (a long time love), I decided that the show had done a lot of my work for me, so I decided I would use some holodeck and other episodes to highlight some of the different genres the show has played with :D So, tl;dr: have some cookie Picards :3
