The sound of a motorcycle pulling up to the front of the mansion caught Bobby's attention. It wasn't an unusual sound, but he couldn't remember any of the bike folks having gone out earlier today. So, who had come back?

One way to find out.

He tucked his phone into a pocket as he got up from the couch to head into the hallway. By the time he reached the entryway, he knew who it was before they'd even come in the door.

"Hey, Logan," he said as the grumpy man stepped inside. "Bout time you got back."

"What are you, my mother?" Logan growled.

Unfazed, Bobby tossed back, "Maybe."

Logan grunted and tilted his head like he was listening to the house. "Anyone else home?"

"It's a school, Logan. Always. Most of them are doing homework, I think."

"Not you?"

With a grin, Bobby shook his head. "Not if I can help it."

"So what do you do for fun?"

"Long division."

Logan grunted. "We got anything to eat around here?"

"Only if you want salad. It's almost grocery time again. What do you say we go get burgers?"

"You're just angling for me to buy dinner."

Bobby shrugged. "That and a ride on the bike."
