Harvey opened the car door and motioned for Donna to get in. She gave him a semi-skeptical look, but got into the car without directly asking a question. Harvey closed the door then rounded the car to slide into the driver's seat.

"Where are we going, Harvey?"

"For a drive," he said and started the car.

Donna peered at him. "Just 'for a drive'? That's it?"

"I can leave you here."

"No no. If you're playing hooky, I'm coming along." She settled back in her seat. "But, I'd like to know where we're going."

"Just up the parkway. Nice leisurely drive. We'll stop somewhere for lunch. Maybe go for a walk." He pulled away from the curb and into the city traffic.

Donna glanced into the footwell, then back to Harvey. "I'm not wearing hiking shoes."

Harvey gave her a look and turned to head out of the city.

"I don't see any snacks. What kind of road trip is this?"

Harvey smirked at her. "It's a day drive, not a road trip."

"What am I going to do with you?" she asked with a light snort.

"I'll get you a soda when we stop for gas."

"You are so lucky the trees are pretty this time of year."
