Cracked ribs are only partially treated with compression. Well, actually, they’re not treated so much as held in place and left to their own devices on the healing front, but Chloe likes to think of them as being treated. It makes up for the relative lack of painkillers in Asav’s supply crates.

Chloe manages to avoid taking – too many – blows to the area in the scrambling about that follows her fall, but lassooing does put a bit of a strain on the torso. As does a partner with an ungodly amount of muscles using her as a ladder.

(Not that she’s objecting to Nadine climbing her like a tree, in principle. She’s just spectacularly sore. Give her a week, and she'll be all for it.)
