Title: Five things that are awesome about Alcatraz
Fandom: Alcatraz
Content notes: a little meta to go with a picspam
Author notes: Warnings for mild fangirl-speak
Summary: There are more than five things that are awesome about Alcatraz, but I highlighted my top five.
1. Detective Rebecca Madsen
She's young and a bit of a wildcard, but she's got good cop instincts. She's rocks the stake-outs, researches like a BAMF and carries a gun. She's also cute as a button.

2. Rebecca's Car
I don't feel words are necessary.

3. Dr. Diego Soto (aka 'Doc')
He wrote a book on Alcatraz and is an expert with brain power. He geeks it out with Nikki, the coroner, and has amazing recall skills when it comes to the details of the former inmates. Also, the dude owns a comic shop.

4. Alcatraz, circa 1960's
The scenes from the 1960's are really fantastic. The tint and tone is well done, giving the footage a sense of age, and the styles and speech patterns and 'retro' feel of it is just cool.

5. Emerson Hauser and Dr. Lucy Banerjee (aka Dr. Sengupta)
Who doesn't like a little romance? They definitely have a history and something is going on beneath that veneer of professionalism.Hauser is SO obviously pining for her

*Alcatraz airs Mondays on FOX and is available on iTunes & hulu.com ((in the USA)).

(Also, Hauser is totally pining for Lucy Banerjee, I can't even.)

IKR, I want her to wake up so bad.
