Summary: Iris has thoughts too spoilery to put in the summary.
Nora kept turning away from her. Her own daughter couldn't even look her in the eye. Eyes only for her father. Iris would be lying if she said it didn't hurt. It hurt a lot. The sting had lessened some when Iris learned why Nora never wanted to leave Barry's side. It made sense how growing up without him would cause her to cling to him now. What it didn't explain was why Nora didn't seem to want anything to do with Iris. What does she do in the future to turn her own daughter away? Who does she become?
After seeing the newspaper headline, Iris pushes down the rising panic. It won't help her. The future isn't always what it seems. She knows that more than most. Barry knows it too. It isn't set. It doesn't have to happen this way. They can find a way to make sure that it doesn't. Iris wants Nora to grow up with both of her parents surrounding her with love. She also wants to not lose her husband. Not again. They have time to fix this. It is years away, not months. She has time to get to know her daughter first.
