Summary: The World Tree

IAsh Tree

Tall the Tree stands in the center
Soul-spine strong
At its foot the dark and restless well
Wyrd-dreamed depth
The seasons turn and pass in turn
Unchanged, yet new
Stars and seeds taste Mimir's Tears
Each drop a world
Where life spins, spindled on the tree
Spear-struck, lightning lit.

Who knows the words, the runes unwritten
The songs unsung?
Witness this, the Hanged One's sacrifice:
An Eye for Sight
Life for Light
Bound, and free.
